That's an interesting way to position the fingers. I couldn't do that unless I tried.

A great piece! Funny and creative at the same time. The Catholic side of me wants to be mad, but it's impossible to get offended by the Muppets.

What I never understood was why Byzantine through to Renaissance artists seemed to think that humans could contort their hands in such un-humanly ways.

Along with the immaculate conception, I suppose mary was gifted double-jointedness.

I ask each and every one of you to try to hold the weight of a child with your fingers splayed like that.
