My movie is The Gate (1987). Starring Stephen Dorff. Glen (Stephen) and his friends accidentally open a gate to Hell in his backyard while his parents are away, releasing a horde of demons.
If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it. It was one of those definitive moments in my childhood that warped me. (We'll see how long this stays up, but here's a youtube vid: [link])

It looks like a drawing Glen might have done, based on his memories of the demons, getting an eye in the palm of his hand, etc. - good job!
