i love this!!!! i love madonna paintings, i was hoping to try one myself, and i have a beautiful one here at home that i bought the rabbit mask is brilliant too, i think its slightly more interesting than the white rabbit heads (although i like them too) but masks are so intriguing, who's behind it, what do they really look like, this is a really curious painting fantastic and her blue shawl is beautifully painted
i'll be a little while yet, still dealing with a small blythe addiction, and they seem to sell, 3 out of 5 so far is a really good average for me, and the two remaining ones are off to a show in Paris, little blythe jetsetters! but i do photograph madonnas on my hols, we go to italy now and then (italian mother-in-law!) and you see them in shrines on the roadside, so lonely and beautiful in the landscape i also want to do some day of the dead in my paintings, although i think sylvia ji has that pretty well all sewn up, i'll just have to think of a new take on it!
That's awesome!! For Paris and you! That's a nice little niche you've found, really great idea. I hadn't even heard of these things before, so it's really interesting.
Well, when your gears are ready to switch I bet you'll come up with a cool Maddy... What with all the exposure and Italian background And day of the dead would be amazing to see. You've got all kinds of cool boiling in your pot
